Dell inspiron N4050 Intel video XP driver
Dear all
Need you help please
I just installed xp on my inspiron N4050 with SP3.
all hardware drivers are working fine (downloaded from either dell site of manufacture site)
except the video driver which is always giving me 2 subsequent errors during installation with ADVAPI32.dll , KERENL32.dll then a 3rd error
'this application has failed to start because dxgi.dll was not found"
I tried different drivers for Intel Graphics 3000 2nd generation , from dell support site and then from Intel site itself ; both are giving same symptom.
can anyone help?:)
thanks

Hi fayed73,
Dell has not tested the Inspiron N4050 system with windows XP Operating system; therefore the drivers are not available for the system.
You may run the diagnostics to check the hardware functionality of the system. Here are the steps:
· Restart the system and immediately start tapping the 'F12' key to enter the 'Boot Menu'.
· Use the 'Down Arrow' key to highlight the 'Diagnostics' option. Press the 'Enter' key.
· The diagnostics will begin. Please note the exact error message/code, if any appears on the screen.
· You may also refer to the video on the link http://dell.to/16zEq6r for more information.
Use system file checker to http://dell.to/18iIw2x to assist you with missing .dll files.
Hope this helps. Feel free to reply for any further question.
