Note that Intel released a new generation of CPUs recently - if you're not in a hurry, just about everything out there now will be replaced with these new CPUs before too long.
Thanks for the link; however I still don't know what Dell laptop models satisfy these requirements. I suppose I could step through them one at a time, but ...
You will have to do that with just about any configurable model -- WIDI requires a system with Intel wireless (which is often optional, not standard), an i3 or i5 CPU for now (i7 coming with sandy bridge). Even some systems like the XPS 14/15/17 that support WIDI in some configuration, do not in others.
Basically, the current first-generation WIDI is a work in progress - it's not really finished. If you must use WIDI, wait for the next generation of notebooks (Sandy Brige), which will work out many of the bugs currently in the first implementation of WIDI that's now available. Like many new technologies, Version 1 is usually for the bleeding edge.

Thanks for the followup. It does indeed look like Sandy Bridge (and WiDi 2.0) is worth waiting for.
