Dimension 8300 will not power on

Hi guys,

I've got a Dimension 8300 that suddenly would not turn on. I went through the Dell-provided wizard and got to the last step, but there is no resolution or diagnosis provided.

Power LED is completely off and will not go on no matter what.

Opening the case, there is a green light on the motherboard that is on. If I hold the power button in while the computer is unplugged, the light on the motherboard eventually turns off, so I assume the button is not loose or anything.

Does anyone have any idea what part is malfunctioning, or what I can do to troubleshoot further?

Are any of the capacitors bulging or leaking (these are the can-shaped devices clustered around the CPU and video card sockets).  The tops should be perfectly flat - no bulges, and no leakage.

That was fast - thanks! No, there's no bulging or leaking anywhere.
