Disk partitions changed/rearranged after running Windows 7 backup.
I have an Inspiron N7010 with a 500GB hard drive. I know that there are two volumes defined: One for operating system and one for system restore. However, after I ran Windows 7 Backup, something has changed the partitioning. Drive "C", that contains the operating system, only shows 58.5 GB of space with only 5.35 GB free. Drive "D", that contains the Dell system restore, shows 397GB of space and 397GB free. Can someone tell me what has happened?

The first partition does not contain the operating system. Drive letters can be changed
Change D: to E. THen Change C: to D: then Assign E: to C:

When I go into Disk Management, the disk is partitioned in following way:
Primary Partition:
(1) 100MB OEM Partition (no drive letter assigned)
(2) RECOVERY 9.77 GB (System, Active)(no drive letter assigned)
(3) OS 58.59 GB (Boot, Page File, Crash Dump) (Drive C:)
(4) Drive D: 397.30 GB (Logical Drive)
This cannot be a factory setup for the drive. Can tell me how the drive the setup from factory? I don't think I can extend drive C. I am not sure how this got changed. Everything was fine until I did a Windows 7 backup.
