Does it harm a Dell laptop when we use it while charging?

Hi guys, just signed up today. :)

This might already be asked before, does it harm a Dell laptop when we use it while the battery is charging?

And one other thing, does it harm a Dell laptop when we use it while the battery is unplugged yet the charger still remains plugged?

Hi EDWINMOHAMMAD,

You can continue to work on the computer while the battery is charging indeed. You can remove the battery and run the computer off of the AC Adapter too.

No and no. I always prefer that a battery is installed though but that's just me.
