Drive 0 Partition? Windows 8

Hello today i download Windows 8 and i wanna install that but i have a question about format when i start the install windows 8 at the format stage there was a 3 partition 

Drive 0 Partition 1:Dellutility Total Size(100MB) Free Space(99MB) OEM(Reserved)

Drive 0 Partition 2:Recovery Total Size(14.6) Free Space (6.4) System (idon't remember 14.6 and 6.4 gb or mb)

and my primary C: partition

what are these 2 partition Dellutiliy and recovery should i keep them when installing windows 8 or can i delete these if someone can explain i will be really grateful thank u !

(My laptop inspiron n5110 15R)

The Dell diagnostics are invoked with F12 at powerup and contain system-specific hardware tests.

The quick restore is the large partition - it can be invoked with F8 before Windows loads and used to restore the system to factory condition.  Once you alter the boot sector with Windows 8, the quick restore will no longer function.

You should keep the diagnostic partition (the small one).   The recovery partition will be unusable once you install Windows 8, so MAKE A FULL BACKUP using Dell Datasafe BEFORE you install Windows 8.

Then that partition can be deleted.
