E6400 and nonworking Broadcom USH CV w/Fingerprint Swipe Sensor
Hello all,
at the begining I'd like to let you know that I've read almoast all topics related to my problem but the problem still exists :(
I've received new dell E6400 laptop equipped with Broadcom USH CV w/Fingerprint Swipe Sensor (that is listed in device manager).
My operating system is XP. I've installed newest patches and drivers from Dell's side inc: Dell_ControlPoint-Security-M_A07_R204024 and Dell_ControlPoint-Security-M_A07_R206690. I've also replaced bioapi100.dll and bioapi_mds300.dll with versions having 29.05.2008: 17:16 timestamp. Also dell support replaced old sensor with new one.
The problem still exist - while trying to enroll my fingerprints there is information that the device is closed :(
Any idea how can I have my device up'n running?
regards
mike

Pudgyone,
I got two (2) more questions for you.
#1.) I can't seem to enabled Bit-Locker for my Precision M6500. Can you give me some tech tips?
#2.) I'm also having problems with installing the NVIDA Driver for my until after a re-install (e.g. Win 7 64Bit). Any suggestions?
Thank you.

Pudgyone,
Man ... I need to slow down. It has to be either Windows 7 Ultimate or Enterprise Edition. I'm running professional. I'm going to re-install Enterprise Edition right now. Thanks for the link! OMG ... wow ... :-)

REpson,
That's what we're here for, to help one another. Maybe you can help someone from learning through your procedure(s) and then another person is grateful.
You need anything, just ask(sorry no request for money):emotion-5:
