E6410 backlit Keyboard
I have E6410 with backlit keyboard. It was working fine until last month, and all of a sudden it stopped working. Reading all sorts of discussion on forum, I am sure that I have backlit keyboard and BIOS option is activated. It lits up while system boots up but as soon as i login to windows, it stops working. I have no idea what to do. I have checked all the options, i thought of. ANY HELP PLEASE??

Thank you for your question.
It could be that the ambient light sensor is controlling the keyboard backlight. Do this: Log into Windows then hold the FN key and press the right arrow key once. This keystroke will enable and disable light sensor control of the backlit keyboard. Once the light sensor is disabled from controlling the keyboard, it should light up every time.
