How old are those games. Only time i have ever seen this same thing was on my old 486. I had a version of the old contra for the computer, It ran great on the 386/SX i had prior but when i got the 486 the guys ran across the screen in about 2 seconds. In that case it was a game design issue.
I did some more searching. I thought it had something to do with the video chipset (which is why I posted it here) but as it turns out its the CPU. The speed stepping messing things up. If I use a util to set the cpu to max speed all the time so it doesnt have to "get up to speed" so to speak Crazy taxi 3 will run just fine. Beyond good and evil still has the same problem. Both games are under 2 months old.
