HMDI wont work
I have a Dell 5558 laptop, I plugged in a HMDI cable into the lapton and a external screen, Error message screen not detected, Checked differncr HMDI option 1-4 still nothing. Can any one help me

What external screen and what OS? Monitor or tv? Right click on the desktop and select Display Settings to detect an external monitor. Make sure the monitor or tv is turned on and the tv is set to the correct hdmi input.

Hi Alan, did you have any luck with the suggestions? These are great solutions, one last thing you could attempt is using a different HDMI cable (just in case this one isn't working). And as was mentioned above, the option under display settings to detect an external monitor should hopefully be all you will need.
