Help! Some keys on Inspiron 1545 keyboard are not working?!
I have a Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop, and the keys: b, n, ?/, the space bar, and the down and side arrows are suddenly not working. What do I do to fix this problem? Thanks for the help!

Press function key F12 at powerup.It takes you a boot menu like this
try using the up/down arrow keys to navigate through the menu.If the keys don't respond the keyboard is faulty.
You can try reseating the keyboard ribbon cable (be careful - don't damage the connector - never user force)
For the time being you can use an external USB keyboard.....

Just watch the YouTube video !
If you forward the video to 1:00 you'll see how the guy lifts the keyboard,unlocks and disconnect the ribbon cable.Do the same and just put the cable back in again.That way you have "reseated" the cable which could fix possible connection problems.(with time pins can oxidate ,corrode whatever and moving them a little bit could get rid of dirt...)
Please note: some user somehow always break something - do it on your own responsibility.

What if I am using Inspiron 1545 also with not only Windows 7 Ultimate on it x64 but also Windows 8 Pro as Vista on here was stupid and slow and *** like that so I did install of those and now like about 5 days ago my keyboard had delay inputs of the z key and also 3 days ago the x key as well. I play Elsword and it uses BOTH of those keys I cant do anything on the game without them and then it makes me look like a leacher on the game which can get me a PERM BAN ON THE GAME.
So I tried looking for "PCMServices.exe" on Autoruns with the Sysinternals tools sysinternals.com and then I didn't see any instance of it on the Autostarts list and I seen a forum where that exe causes delays on things on their Dell Laptops. so, I disabled the keyboard parts of what installed with my Microsoft mouse on here. In fact if I have to reseet this keyboard it would be similar on how I seen it done on the 1525's but here is the thing I used to have tools to do so like I did on my 1100 but when I did it on the 1100 I accidentally fried the component that the keyboard hooks to which affected the display on it. l0l
Anyway on here though it is really pissing me off that this keyboard is doing this although it would *** me off more when I forget to press function before F2 key and then I disconnect from the internet which then there goes me game as I would get "No connection to the Server" on top of that I hate how this laptop has a *** Hitachi Hard disc because when you EVER need to use the WEBCAM I end up getting "USB Device not Recognized" and then 1 sec later it goes to "Skype cant detect a Webcam" like GG
GG = get good
