How do I boot Windows 7 x64 in UEFI mode on my Vostro 3350?
Hello everyone, since a few months, I'm the proud owner of a Vostro 3350. But i am really trying hard to install Windows 7 in native EFI mode on it. The Aptio firmware must support EFI boot. But I can't find the option for the EFI Shell. Thank you in advance for any help

You might want to search Microsoft support for this information. A quick look brought up this thread that had a solution: UEFI Failed Installation of Windows 7.

It's a shame you never got an answer to this.
I have an Inspiron 15R with an AMI Aptio BIOS and no option to boot into EFI Shell.

It is a shame. I've been trying to figure this out for a week straight. I've got a Vostro 3560 though. I know how to setup the USB drive properly, using Windows 7 x64 SP1 image to FAT32 drive. It recognizes it on boot, but will not enter setup. Windows 8 will go straight to the install wizard and install, however. I'm not too excited about Windows 8, so I don't find that to be a solution.
