How do I get rid of fast access?

How have you tried to uninstall it? You need to turn it off in the Security Tab of the program. If you don't see the security tab, you actually need to install the program first

Why then does Dell make it so hard to remove this program?   The "facial recognition program" is self-evidently INTRUSIVE.  The ONLY reason I'd ever buy a Dell product again would be its price.  It self-evidently does not care about respecting the privacy of its customers.

I do not have a problem uninstalling it,the problem is a couple of weeks later my computer downloads and reinstalls the program without my knowledge.

do you have auto updates or something going on? could be why it keeps downloading and installing

I am sure it is some sort of auto update problem. I would like to know how to disable it.

This program is re-installing because of the Dell Digital Delivery Program. The primary purpose is to install programs you got from Dell initially. You can open the program and un-check any items you don't want to be automatically installed. The program runs every time the computer is started. It apparently checks to see if any of the selected items are not installed, and then installs them. It should alert you to the action, and allow you to OK it or not. In addition, the program should be located in the Start-up Folder to be run every start-up. You could remove from this folder, or even uninstall (perhaps) the Delivery Program

  I do not have dell digital delivery installed on this computer. I do have a program called software update. does not appear to have any ability to adjust settings,it`s either on or off only. I opened support/assist on this computer,clicked on the settings gear. Clicked on notifications and unchecked download updates tab. Hope this works. That a hour of my life I won`t get back. Won`t ever be buying a dell gain,next time is going to be a mac!

I'm not too familiar with Support/Assist. It's normally used in IT situations and on AlienWare computers. Software update is kind of a generic name. Is this also a Dell product? Almost every application and utility has an automatic update feature. I gave up years ago using any of Dell's helper utilities, as they never did anything useful.
