How to use latitude E6510 mobile modem

Hello

I've recently got a new dell latitude e6510 service tag:hvskyn1 and i observed a place to insert a sim card and i think that is a 3g modem or something. I tried to find it in device manager, i tried to find driver and software on dell site but i wasn't able to start it. Can anybody explain me how to use it or what is it? maybe it's there only to cover the space or something. I really need some help in this matter.
