I can't put my computer into sleep mode

Hey,
I have Inspiron N5110.
I can not put my computer into sleep mode.
I checked, and the problem is the touchpad driver (when i turn it off in the MSconfig, the Sleep mode is working).
What to do?

Thanks,
Eyal.

Hi yulis3,

Please try the below mentioned steps and reply with results:

  1. Click the “Start” button and type “cmd” in the search box.
  2. Press Ctrl + Shift + Enter.
  3. When prompted by the UAC dialog box allow. This will open the command prompt with elevated rights.
  4. Type “diskpart” and hit Enter.
  5. Type “automount enable" and hit Enter.
  6. Type “Exit” and hit Enter.
  7. Restart the computer and check if Sleep works now.

Hope this helps.

The best solution is try to let yourself sleep than your laptop.

Try to check the setting of your power options.

Maybe your power options to sleep is selected to "never".

Please check that one.

The problem is back:(.
I repeated the solution that helped last time (what Dell-Zohaib R say me to do), and now that solution did not help.
