I can't use my Touchpad while typing
Hello, I am running a new Inspiron 15R SE 7520 laptop, and I am to understand that this is a feature built into this laptop. While I understand the utility behind this, I cannot find a way to disable this feature. I tried turning "Palm Tracking" down to minimum, but this did not work.
As someone who likes to play games in their spare time on the computer, this will help me enjoy using my new laptop immensely.

I turned it off too, and noticed no difference, but then I realized, you have to click save, then the changes will take effect. It now lets me use my touchpad while I have keys pressed down on the keyboard! :D

My computer is from 2011 so I don't have that, it is an xps l501x, I do some gaming online and it is very hard with the trackpad, I don't have this problem with another computer that is the same model, the trackpad works fine, but I don't know, I didn't do anything with it except for replace the hard drive.

I am on an alps touchpad system and this worked for me. Registry path
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Alps\Apoint\TouchGuard\TypingOffFunctionUI\ And changed it to 0.

I also have a Dell Precision... This saved me. Now how to make it not occasionally reset the settings on a windows update...
I also want to make the cursor a bit more sensitive than the control panel will let me do.
It feels like a new computer with SPSpeed 120
