Hi RS322767,

When did the issue start? Is the issue seen on the USB 3.0 port and the USB 2.0 ports on the left and right side? Are you using USB 2 or USB 3 devices? Does an external mouse work fine? Does an external HDD work fine? Are you able to read and write data to the USB drives? What is the size of the USB device you have connected and what is the capacity it is detecting? Does it detect the right capacity in Disk Management?

If the system was working fine earlier, then perform a system restore to restore the machine to an earlier point where it was working fine - http://bit.ly/1JEw2ov

Update the BIOS - http://dell.to/2fkDGBY- restart and check.

Check if it works fine in the built in admin account - http://bit.ly/1JoFhcw

Also, check this article on how to resolve usb port issues - http://dell.to/2eJWlp3

Also, please click my DELL-username and write me a private conversation with the service tag and your Name for case records.

Hi Rishi, I am actually having an issue with my AC adapter not being recognized, not any of the usb ports, but thanks anyway!

I see that you have made a new post and have had a response from ejn63.

Kindly follow the same advise and that would be my suggestion as well.
