Inspiron 1100 and Wireless with Microsoft Wireless Base Station

I just purchased an Inspiron 1100, but this one only comes with a network card. I want to go wireless with our cable modem, and I have my eye on the Microsoft Broadband Networking Wireless Notebook Kit.

The kit includes the Microsoft Wireless Base Station and a Microsoft Wireless Notebook Adapter. Would this work for me?
