Inspiron 1150 CPU upgrade questions

First of all, is it even possible to upgrade the processor in the Inspiron 1150? I have heard the Inspiron 1150 has an Intel 82852GME chipset, and supports Pentium 4 (478 pin) processors, and the 400 FSB Pentium M processors. Do you recommend me to upgrade from a 2.8 Ghz Mobile Pentium 4 to a 3.06 Ghz Mobile Pentium 4 or a 1.7 Ghz Pentium M? I have heard from some of my friends that as long as a processor has 478 pins it will work. Is that correct, or does the chipset not support Pentium M processors? Thanks.

You can use only mobile P4s in that system - the Pentium M is a completely different CPU and will not work.

I would be very careful with upgrades to the 1150 - it runs hot as is, and boosting the speed may make that worse.
