Inspiron 13-7378 ambient light sensor?

Hi,

I bought an Inspiron 13-7378. I'm generally happy with it, but the backlight doesn't adjust automatically and the keyboard backlight also doesn't come on automatically. Does the 7378 have an ambient light sensor? Am I missing a driver?

Hi SEIDLER ,

Kindly press the Fn+F10 to toggle back-light

Also go to control panel>>windows mobility center>>and look for keyboard back-light settings.

Hi,

Try the Fn + left arrow key to activate the "ambient light sensor"

Also go to BIOS by pressing F2 and check under "Video" option if there is any option for "ambient light sensor" if yes activate it.
