Inspiron 15 5548 win7 webcam driver
Hi, I try to download win7 driver for Inspiron 5548 webcam but somehow i can not find any.
the best i can do is insall dell webcam center /manager.. but once i open up the application it give me error "no supported camera detected"

Hi Abrihmi,
I would suggest you to update the BIOS on the computer. Please enter your service tag # on the link below, then download the BIOS required onto the system and install it.

Also, I would suggest you to run the test on Webcam on the system.
1. Open the link http://dell.to/14YjKb2
2. Select ‘Hardware’ under ‘Advanced’ tab.
3. Select ‘Camera’.
4. Click on ‘Run Diagnostics’ button.
5. Let me know if the results.

Hi,
Thanks for the link. however they didn't help much.
the BIOS i update from A00 to A04 but when i scan camera as you suggest it still giving me error unable to find device. i believe for whatever the reason win7 wasn't able to detect the camera.
is there direct download link for build in webcam driver ??

It seems like the webcam is faulty you will need to replace it. Please private message us the system service tag so that I can check and assist you further.
