Inspiron 1525 blue thermal pad
I was cleaning out my fan/heat sink and the blue thermal pad stuck and ripped, so I need a new one. I don't need a whole heat sink kit, just the thermal pad. Any ideas where to get one? Or how to find the exact specifications (thickness, material, etc)? From what I can tell, I can't just put thermal paste on because the gap is too big.

So, I ordered that part, the UP755 repair kit, but that's not the right thing. That seems to be gray heat sink paste in a pre-formed square to put on the cpu. Which is handy to have but I'm looking for the blue/purple pad that appears to be made out of silicone.
In the picture of the heat sink at the bottom of this link you can see it. It goes under the part of the heat sink that is shaped like a pentagon at the end.
Any further advice?

guyz...i cleaned my laptop's thermal sink today...loads of dust was there...cleaned t for the first time in the last 3 yrs....
there was a blue pad between the cpu and the heatsink...
on several forums i read that after cleaning the heat sink...one must always put thermal paste on the cpu before putting back the heatsink..but in my inspiron 1525 there was a pad... plz tell me if i need to apply the thermal paste or is it not required ....bcoz i really don't want my laptop to go bad...bcoz of this...
