Inspiron 1525 webcam no drivers
This seems to be a common problem with Dell webcams, they don't work for reason or another. I originally bought my laptop with Vista and after a couple of years of service Vista started to create headaches so went back to XP. The problem has been that the webcam never worked after that because it does not have drivers. I have searched Dell site and downloaded/installed Webcam Manager and Webcam Center but they do not work because they do not include drivers for the built in webcam. Dell's site does not have them as far as I can see. Anyone know a solution to this?
There are quite a lot of postings on the web about this and they tend to refer back to Dell Driver downloads but none of them has been solved what I can see. Is it then possible that Inspiron 1252 XP drivers for built in webcam do not exist?

So since the Dell webcam does not work I installed a Logitech USB camera... guess what, Dell built in webcan started to work! Where is the logic in that? anyway, works now. case closed
