Inspiron 2200 Memory

I have a 2200 with 256 mb RAM.  I need to upgrade it.  The manuel says the 256 is not removeable.  When I take off the cover, there is one slot with the 256 in it and no other slot for the additional memory.  Where do I put the additional memory?  Do I have to take the entire computer apart or does it just go in the same slot the 256 was in?  Without the new memory, the computer will continue to lock up and run really slow.  I would appreciate any help you can give me.
Thanks,
Sam

There are two sockets under the door marked M, stacked on top of each other.

The slot should be underneath the access panel on the bottom of the system.  A lot of times 256 non removable means that there is 256MB of memory built to the systemboard.

I looked under the door M.  There is only one place to put the memory and that has the 256 in it already.  Let me know if you have any other suggestions...I appreciate the help.  THe manual says it has a max of 1280 mb RAM so the 256 should be able to stay in.  I just don't see where the upgrade is going to go.

I was thinking of the B120. The base 256M on the 2200 is soldered to the system board. If there's a module in the socket, you have more than 256M (or the 256M that's in the socket is defective, if you see only 256M).
