Inspiron 2500 clock battery

Question

Can anyone tell me where to find my clock battery  on my Inspiron 2500 laptop.  I need to  take it out and  to a store, and buy a new one.   I seem to lose a month or so every so often and have been told to replace the battery. (Use simple language as I am  computer illiterate)  thanks

Unless you know how to solder, bring the system to a competent repair shop. The battery is soldered to the system board.
