Inspiron 6000 screen is very dimm...
My DELL Inspiron 6000 screen is extremely dimm and the contrst/bright buttons are already maxed out. Does anyone know what the problem here is? Do I neeed a new monitor screen or ...?

It is likely the backlight bulb has faded from age -- yes, a new screen is in order.
