Inspiron 6400-Buzzing noise when playing games
Hi,
I am a user of the Dell Inspiron 6400 notebook. Recently, my notebook has been emitting continuous blaring sounds when I am playing games and the computer will hang(sound doesnt stop). I have to restart the notebook to stop the sound. This has also happened once or twice when I am viewing videos.
Anyway, I am using Sigmatel sound card and ATI Radeon Mobility X1400 video card. Operating system is Windows Vista Home Premium. Its not likely to be a problem with windows vista as I had the same problem with Windows XP. It should not be a overheating issue too as I monitor the cpu and gpu temperature regulary and when playing games, they are usually in the 60s degree celcius. I have also done a ram check using Memtest86 and there are no problems.
I hope for your help in this matter. Thank you!
