Inspiron 7000 and Quantex TS30I
I have a Quantex TS30I2-14 notebook that needs some upgrading. I was told that it is the same machine as the Dell Inspiron 7000. Is that true? I did get a used Dell Inspiron 7000 battery and it works fine in the Quantex, but what about other components? Specifically
DVD/Floppy drive
Hard Drive
RAM
Keyboard
Display/Screen
AC Adapter
Can I upgrade the preceding components on my Quantex notebook with Dell Inspiron parts?

It says the processor is an Intel Pentium II 366 MHz
I also found that the Hard Drive is a Toshiba MK6409MAV and the DVD drive is a Matshita DVD-ROM SR-8171.

The internal Parts for the TS30I2 and the Inspiron 7000 are IDENTICAL. If you open the ram port on the 7000 and look at the motherboard it says TS30I2 on it. Some of the outside plastic parts and display parts are slightly different.
The Compal TS30i or Inspiron 7000/7500 series are quite similar and the battery is interchangeable with all of them.
