Inspiron 7548 Trackpad Issues After Windows 10 Upgrade
My trackpad occasionally will just stop working. The buttons become unresponsive as well as the trackpad itself. Only way to temporarily fix it is to reboot. I and many others had this issue on Windows 8.1 but it seemed fixed after updating to the A03 bios. Now, on Windows 10 using the A05 bios, the issue is back. Is anyone else having this problem?

No change? I'm using Windows 10. actually I'm on the windows 10 insider preview fast ring. But not on the one with Ubuntu in it. Too many things broken in that one.
10586.218 is what version I'm on.
I have not experienced any trackpad outages but who knows. It may just not have had the right conditions to fail yet so I cannot say for certain.

I've come to the conclusion the issue is entirely hardware related. No amount of updates, previews, or anything will fix it.

Having same problem of erratic trackpad probably after windows update. Not sure whether hardware is also defective. Viewed this thread: en.community.dell.com/.../19648030 But I cant find the ETDUSBdriver. It will be helpful if you could post driver link.
