Inspiron N5110 (15R) - continuous 3 beeps
My Inspiron N5110 suddenly started beeping constinuously from the internal speaker, 3 short beeps, a pause, 3 short beeps, a pause etc.
The PC seems to work fine.
When I restart the PC, it will start beeping as soon as the BIOS is loading, and won't stop even though Wondows loads fine.
This is very annoying, and also a bit worrying whether something is wrong.
Any help is welcome.

Try replacing the CMOS (reserve) battery -- it's a CR-2032 lithium button cell. If that doesn't solve it, the mainboard needs to be replaced.
