Intel Graphics for 17R SE 7720 3D

Please allow us a choice when having graphics on this machine. Battery depletion is unacceptible because the Intel Graphics is disabled. Who uses 3D all the time? It only seems fair and sensible to allow us the use of the Intel graphics for everyday use. Why is this only possible on the XPS systems? Is it a mistake to buy Inspiron only to find expected features are not available? Is anyone working on this or are we no longer supported? I won't even bother to ask about upgrading memory... Oooops! Thanks.
