Intel HD 3000+AMD 6470m Drivers

Hi, I wanted to update my video driver on my laptop, laptop is Dell Inspiron n5110 with Intel HD 3000+ AMD HD 6470m but for my surprise there was only one driver for my laptop on the Dell website  and that was from 2011,Tryed to download a driver from the AMD website for the 6470m but it did not work. So my question is: is that driver on the Dell website the only option for downloading videodriver for my laptop and why is it so old ? :emotion-42:

No, you cannot disable the Intel GPU - since the AMD GPU has no connection to the display, all video data passes through the on-CPU Intel GPU.    The drivers have to come from Dell - installing the OEM Intel driver CAN be done but it'll disable the AMD GPU.

The AMD GPU cannot run without the Intel GPU.

Yes, Dell is the only option.   You can't use OEM drivers on a system with switching graphics.

It's possible to active AMD board.

Look at this image

after you put this option, you will can alternate among Intel and AMD (only driver dell. if you install AMD's driver directly on site you cannot do the commutation)
