Is my keyboard toast?

I have ann old Innspiron 3800 that has  come down  with a  case of the double-character typinng on the n, a, and space bar, as evidenced by this text, maybe a few other keys that I forgot.  Sometimes the delete key does not work at all either.  Help!

try the oldest trick in the book. shut down the computer, remove the battery and ac adapter. remove all peripherals. press the power button for 10 secs. turn it on again. see if that works. if not, try to go into command prompt and check if the keyboard fails here also. if it also fails there, then the keyboard might be toast.

Problem resolved! Had keyboard swapped out from a donor and it is good as new.  Often heard that they fail after a few years... Thanks.
