Is there such a thing as an external PCMIA adaptor?

Usual problem of USB 2 + Wireless + photo etc. Wondered whether there was an adaptor that could take extra cards.

Thanks

You need a PC card reader? There certainly are products that can be used to read your PC cards. While most products are PCI based, designed for your desktop system, you can find ones that use USB connection.

On the other hand, why not just use a USB 2 adapter and change everything else to USB? There are USB wireless adapters, USB memory card readers, etc. They actually save you some trouble...

Thanks, in fact that is what I've just done. Should have thought about it earlier!

Just watch the power consumption.  Even if you are using a PC Card for USB 2.0, you have to keep an eye on how much voltage is available.  I ran into this problem and had to get a powered USB 2.0 hub from the local electronics store to ensure that I didn't have any further difficulties.
