Laptop LCD display partially black on left side.

Question

I've a Dell Latitude 1150 laptop and have encountered a problem with my LCD display. Recently started having a dull display on the Laptop monitor with screen going from Black on left side of screen and very dull on the right side. I can hardly see anything on screen. I used the Fn brightness key and tried to keep it the maximum. Please advise help.   Best regards

It's probably an LCD going bad, or the connection between your LCD and motherboard is loose. Try plugging in an external monitor to your laptop and see if the problem occurs on the monitor too. If it does, it's a problem with your video card/motherboard. If not, it's an LCD problem.
