Laptop mouse clicking randomly even when im not using it.
My laptops touchpad randomly clicks while not in use. whether im using the touchscreen on my laptop or just typing anything itll click on its own. my question is: Is this due to some form of virus? if so then my antivirus is unable to detect it and therefore i need another solution. if it is not a virus then what could it be?
I am using a Dell XPS15 model.

To get a better understanding, can you help me with the following information:
1)Were there any software / hardware changed made on the system recently .
2)Have you had a chance to connect and external mouse and test the functionality this is to confirm if its a hardware fault.
3)Does this happen on all the applications .
Can you also provide your computer service tag via private message also confirm which operating system is installed on the system .
