Laptop won't power on without AC adapter

Hello, can someone help me??

I currently using dell inspiron 14R, 5437. I bought it last year and after 11 month using it, i found a major problem. At first my dell cannot charging up the battery, the notif tray says "pluged in not charging". So i use the warranty to fix this, after few weeks they say they ve replacing the battery and AC adapter with the new one.

But after only a few days, yes FEW days.. not even a week another problem occur:

-when the adapter is unplugged, laptop wont power up

-even if it power up, after few minutes it will turned of unexpectedly

-if i plugged in the adapter, laptop works just fine

-if i unplugged the adapter when laptop still on, it will stay turned on

I have trying few tricks like ejecting the battery then press the power button for 30sec, upgrading bios, reinstalling windows, but nothing seems works,,

Now the warranty has expired and i dont know what to do..

should i buy a new battery? Or new adapter? Or perhaps a new laptop?

Sounds like the replacement battery is defective or there is a problem with the system board.  I may be able to help,  I will send you a friend request to get your information, and go from there.

thanks for the reply,
yes, it seems the main problem is not on the battery or the AC adapter. i have accepted your friend request. just ask anything you need, i will try to provide you the information you required to determinate the problem.

you mentioned that it may be there is a problem with the system board. did you means its the motherboard? i didnt really good at machine, if the problem is in the main board im not sure i can fix it by myself.  but if its possible, i didnt want my laptop going to service center because for the moment im a student and currently have a lot of homework to do.

I have sent you a private message so that I can get your information and research possible service options.  If you can verify that the AC adapter and the battery are good, then yes I do mean that the problem is with the motherboard / charging board and that it will need to be replaced.  I certainly understand how that can be a problem being a student but they may not be any alternatives.
