Latitude 3540 Keyboard problem

Hello,
we have a problem of keyboard with many Dell Latitude e3540 .
Some keys randomly stop responding .
We have updated the firmware to version A08 but unable to fix it.
Also reinstall the driver keyboard controller with the same result .
The only thing that can solve the problem was momentarily disconnecting and reconnecting the keyboard . Likewise, the problem usually returns .
The local support Dell keyboards we changed several times but the problem persisted.
Someone knows how can be solved ?
Thank you very much ,
greetings .
Heber.

Hi heber.ambrosi,

I would suggest you to bring up the On Screen Keyboard (OSK) and try using it to check if the issue reoccurs on the system works to isolate if the issue is related to hardware or software.

Also, please connect an external USB keyboard to the system and check if it works.

Hi Ravi,
I tried the OSK and appear the letters that do not work physically.
I had also tried charmap and copying the characters.
When I connect a USB keyboard works perfectly .
My sense is that when these keys are pressed repeatedly , every so write some .
I think more than anything a problem with the controller, but check the F12 can not detect any failure .
Thank you ,
greetings .

Hi heber.ambrosi,

Sorry for the delayed response. It seems like an issue related to the keyboard on your system you will need to replace it.
