Latitude D400 Drivers - Help!

Hi,

I need the drivers (video, built-in wireless network, sound and anything else it needs) for this D400 Latitude Laptop. I went to DELL support site. There are 82 driver options. Which ones do I need? Please someone help me. Thanks in advance.

To narrow the list to the ones you need enter your service tag. This will pull only the drivers for the hardware configuration in your system.

Also since it sounds like you are reinstalling drivers you should look at the info HERE on driver reloading

Thanks for trying to help. Entering the SERVICE TAG did not reduce the number of drivers. There are still 82 in total.

If you follow Dave's link in his post, you will see a link to "How to Determine Which Components Are in Your Computer". Follow that and use the "System Configuration Tool". Click on the "Original System Configuration"  tab. Enter your Service Tag and click "Continue". Then click the "Current System Configuration" tab. Follow the procedure and after your computer is scanned click on "Hardware". You will see the model names of some of the components of your computer like the drives, graphics & audio cards, etc. Knowing the names will help you to narrow down which drivers to select.

The only problem with clicking on the current config  is if the device is not recognized or  has an issue it will not show up in current config. Only use the orginal configuration option.

The list can be cryptic. If you are unsure you can post the results making sure you do not post your service tag number. A lot of the times we can help you figure out what hard ware is in your system
