Latitude D610 Battery Light
I am getting the "4 blinks orange, 1 blink green" issue. I have bought a brand new battery and replaced the motherboard and continue to have this issue. The laptop will run fine while plugged in, but immediately powers off when unplugging the power cord. What other component could be causing this issue. The battery and motherboard are obviously fine. Thanks.

The "4 blinks orange, 1 blink green"= I am a dead battery OR I am not a Genuine Dell Battery and I will not charge.

Hi - I have a very old D610 and the same light sequence has just started.
The suggestion of the battery being at the end of its life is reasonable.
Oh well - new computer coming up!
