Latitude D620 restore - keyboard?

Hi,

I've rebuilt a Latitude D620 from the OEM discs. The keyboard has problems: the driver is working but is listed as Standard PS/2 Keyboard, which surely can't be the right driver. A small proporation of the keys don't work (arrow keys, one or two others).

Try as I might, I can't find any other driver. Anyone have any ideas how I can find one and make sure it's the correct one?

But it has keys a Standard PS/2 keyboard doesn't have.. so how does that work?

Keyboards don't need special drivers - if some keys work while others don't, the keyboard needs to be replaced.

I too have 620 Latitude in awesome condition but not one key works on the keyboard...I mean absolutely nothing works. I am hoping its a plug or ribbon cord that is out. Can anybody help ! is it possibly the driver that Riverboat Captain is writing about. I am on whats app <ADMIN NOTE: Phone number removed per privacy policy>  if anybody can give me a pointer. The computer passes its self diagnostic system
