Latitude E6420; Windows XP: what can I do about these?
Hello everyone,
As you can see in the screenshot below, I can't to seem to find any workable drivers for these items, neither on Dell's support site nor elsewhere:
The data for these three items are as follows:
Broadcom USH:
Vid: 0a5c (Broadcom); Pid: 5801 (Unified Security Hub)
Broadcome USH with swipe sensor
(same as above)
Mass Storage Controller
Ven: 1217 (O2Micro); Dev: 8231 (O2Micro OZ600XXX Memory Card).
I'm still googling for any possible solutions, but as of yet found nothing that would work out. Any help is appreciated.
TIA,
Shady

Hello Chinmay, and thanks for your help.
I installed/reinstalled all the drivers you listed, but as you can see in the screenshot below, those two are still out. Also, the USB 3.0 controller (which makes sense; my machine doesn't have USB 3.0; all three ports are black.) The system is fully updated and I already ran the Dell system update utility. What can I do next?
Thanks again,
Shady

The mass storage controller should be the O2 OZ600XXX Memory Card http://ftp.dell.com/chipset/DRVR_WIN_R300787.EXE
The Broadcom USH is included in the ControlPoint Security Device Driver Pack http://ftp.dell.com/control%20point/DELL_CONTROLPOINT-SECURITY-M_A06_R204039.exe

Hello everyone,
I'd like to thank you all for your help, even though my issue was only partially resolved. I followed your advice above as closely as I could, and I even did a clean installation again and reinstalled all the drivers in the correct order (or rather as close to the correct order as possible,) but this USH driver still refuses to work out. Since it doesn't seem to have a direct impact on the machine's functionality or performance (as far as I can tell, that is,) I'm going to leave it as it is for the time being.
Again, thank you.
