Lattitude ON - Evolution Mail

I had originally posted this in the wrong section, so here i go again:

I did a clean install on my laptop (E6510), Win 7 (64-bit) using the discs provided with the laptop, i have the Lattitude ON button and it used to work before.

When it was originally configured, i used the Evolution mail feature to connect the Lattitude ON directly to https://mail.ourmailserver.ca/owa and not through Outlook.  My Outlook ost file is over 4Gb, and can get up to 6Gb at times.  i could also surf the web before.

Now that i have done a clean install, i have reinstalled the Lattitude ON Configuration Tool (Reader 2.1) but i am unable to configure the Lattitude ON to use the https://mail.../owa .  When i press the button when the laptop is turned off, the Reader does start, but there are no emails that are listed, just blank screens for the four optiosn (Email, Contacts, Calander, Tasks).

i did the email chat with the tech support and was asked if i had the Evolution Assistant come up when i installed the reader, but there was no option for the Evolution Assistant.  I was given a phone number and i phoned them and was told that the Lattitude ON only integrates with Outlook, and cannot connect with an exchange server in the way that i was connecting before.

What am i missing, or what is Dell not telling me?
