Linux & M1330.....
G'Day,
Here in Aus DELL does not ship or directly support Linux on its notebooks. I was wondering if anyone had any points, gotchas etc. on whether the M1330 would behave happily under one of the Linux distros.

But you do have the internet in AUS and thus all the support by way of forums for your linux distro of choice. I like Ubuntu give it a whirl. Try a live CD first to see whether all the drivers are there. What I mean is install it under windows and kick the tires. If you are starting with no OS at all then just go for it. The M1330 is a recent laptop so I wouldn't expect problems.
