Hi,             

Seems like the Audio settings for Skype are not working because of which you may not be able to hear sound. I recommend you to follow the steps below:

1. Open Skype and select “Options” on tools tab. 
2. Click on "Tools" and then "Options". 

   3.In the options screen click Audio Settings.

   4.Select the device you want to use in the Microphone and Speakers drop down list and click Save.

    5.Now make a test call in Skype to check your audio settings.
