Mini 10 - Poor video playback over HDMI output
Hi Folks,
I recently bought the Mini 10 and have been very happy with it except one thing. Video playback over the HDMI output to an HD display is very choppy and glitches. I have tried numerous settings and tweaks, downloaded the latest drivers for the video card, chipset, bios and others and searched the Dell support forums for fixes. Nothing seems to cure the problem. It plays HD video quite well on the local display, but not through the HDMI output.
I wonder if this is something Dell is aware of and if they intend to release a fix?
Thanks,
Jerrold

UPDATE:
I was working with an application that monitors CPU and Memory usage when I discovered that memory usage drops like a rock when I turned off the Webcam Central app in the systray. Thought I would give video over HDMI another try and it works much better! Not great yet, but I sincerely hope a better driver is coming soon. This would be a great little media center if it would play HD video over HDMI without glitches!
Are you listening Dell???
