My adapter is suddenly not working.....
My adapter is 45w and I don't know why but it just stopped working. The lights are not coming in and the charger isn't working too. I just wanted to know if this is covered by warranty? I have one year warranty for the laptop so just wandering if the charger has one too.
I bought it last year.

the problem is that I can't find the system tag number on my charger. I'll just take a picture of it and attach it.

The service tag is on the system, not the AC adapter. If the LED on the adapter never comes on, it needs to be replaced. If the system is in warranty, call Dell and they'll send you a new one. If it's not, you can either order one from Dell or another source such as parts-people.com.

HI, I have been calling you guys for three days but there is no answer.
I have a one year warranty on my laptop for sure which means I could get my charger changed as you said earlier. However, if you guys would not answer how could I get it fixed? Is calling you guys the only way to get a new charger or get if fixed? As a college student my laptop is really really really crucial for my studies. Hope I could get my charger till next week Monday.

You need to contact Dell support. That is not done on these forums.
