Hi Sir Sujatha K.,

Yes sir I did install the link you have provided, but a notifications pop ups it said "This Graphic Driver could not find compatible graphic hardware",  And what i did is download and  update the driver from Nvidia website for the GT 525M , from my current version of 306.00 to 320.46 Version, and it also worked with improved fps and added game optimization option, and all the links you have provided to me from Bios update, bios flash, to HM chipset driver, and Virtual memory adjustment. of all said and done they all worked very fine and now the unit runs smoother than the  time i bought this as 2nd hand (used), the graphic is more fluid, and most of all "no shutting down" "no ram deficient" (and hopefully it will run good for years to come), Thanks for the Help sir and your utmost support for Dell users, We Highly appreciated.

Thanks Again:emotion-1:

Hi Muhammad Zahid,

I recommend you to flash BIOS and install the chipset and video drivers in the order given below:

BIOS: http://dell.to/UZRdbZ

Note: While flashing BIOS connect the Ac adapter and make sure the battery has minimum 15% charge as this needs uninterrupted power supply. Do not use the system till it restarts and comes up to the desktop.

Chipset: http://dell.to/XNnx58

Intel HD Graphics 3000: http://dell.to/X1Bhco

NVidia: http://dell.to/X1Bhco

Restart the system after each driver installation.  Try playing the game and check if the system shuts down. Reply with the status of further assistance.

Hi Good Day Sir Sujatha K

Sorry if i posted a message here, which i should started a new thread, I came across this forum because i also have the same problem with my dell its a Inspiron N5110 model P17F core i7, 8 cpu's, with 4gb ram, nvidia GT 525M, windows 7 ultimate 32 bit OS installed, bought this as second hand from a friend from saudi arabia and warranty may already be void, the unit is good and we liked it so much, but the issues started when i started playing Dragon nest online game, the unit started to shut down when playing this game sometimes it may lasts for an hour maybe more or as long as 3 hrs. before shutting down completely, we've just try turning it on again and everything seems to be normal and we did use it to play again, then the issues started all over again after an hour or so, I also have a dell alienware M11X R13 with slightly lower specs core i7 quad core 4gb ram, windows ultimate 64 bit installed by alienware with original cd installer, but didn't encounter this issue playing the same game. what i have noticed that the inspiron has noticeably been much hotter than the alienware when i play this game, is this causing the auto shut down when the gpu or the cpu gets hot,  the alienware also shows sign of alleviated temperatures but still goes on playing without shutting down, did i miss something or may i can not compare the 2 unit in terms of performance. or does a lower ram has to do with the problem, hope to hear from you soon.

Many Thanks:

fr: Zens

Hi Zens,

Thank you for describing the issue in detail. The system is shutting down due to overheating to avoid any impact on the hardware components due to heat.

Alien ware system are specifically built for gaming, hence it will withstand even if there is slight increase in the temperature. Inspiron systems are not basically gaming system. In case your system is meeting the specification required for a particular game and if the system is shutting down while playing games. You may try the following steps.

First of clean the air vents with a can of compressed air and place the system on a flat surface where there is good ventilation. Also update BIOS, chipset and video driver as suggested earlier in the post. click on the links given below to update the same:

BIOS: http://dell.to/15Ge5IS

Chipset:
http://dell.to/16cC3tE

NVidia:
http://dell.to/16T9ahV

Restart the system after each driver update and let me know the status.

Hi Zen,

You need to install with 32 bit and not with 64 bit driver. I apologize for providing 64 bit driver. Click on the link below for 32 bit driver:

Hi Sir Sujatha K

I will start with the Good news, what i have found thru my observation on my dell laptop, there are many background application running and the unit is infected with 2 malwares and a spyware which are present in the system, since that i have bought this as second hand , i just run Ccleaner, microsoft essentials, microsoft anti malware, uninstall background running apps like skype and etc., rec. playback and mic recording which i also found out that is running that means it was recording all the time while the unit is "on", even the on board camera what also running, the google chrome is also corrupted and infected with malware "adware" to be exact ,which i also completely ,uninstalled i'll just use the mozilla firefox instead,  run chkdsk /r /f, and defragmenting, all of these problems add up which causes the system to shutdown, now the unit runs more than 7 hrs. continuously without shutting down playing the dragon nest until my hand is numb and my eyes tired that "I"  quit  but not the unit, the heat is significantly lowered to about 40% approx. "just by touching the palm rest on the lower right side", the only thing that pops up on the screen is a message "not enough memory" it just only happens once in 7 hrs. The not so bad news is I haven't yet installed the drivers you provided , which i will do this coming weekend and also the "not enough memory issue" we'll at least it didn't shut down.  by the way , I  personally  want to thank you (Sir Sujatha K) and your team at Dell for giving us the time and effort to assist us and providing us Dell users the utmost helping hand. 5 stars for ya all.

Thanks you so much and have a nice day :)
