N key on Keyboard starts chaos

 - Some keys on the laptops keyboard are behaving erroneously. for eg.

1.the number '6' key invokes a msg box (with the options of Undo,Cut,paste, delete, Select All as in clicking the right mouse button while having selected something) as well as the number 6 itself.
2.the backslash key(located left side to spacebar key) invokes the '#'char.
3. the '#' char. Key(located left side to enter key) does nothing.
4. one of the 'Ctrl' keys invokes " ' " character each time.
5. key 'N' and key '6' do not invoke the resp. char. unless tried several times.
6.Pressing F6 to F8 Fn keys causes the keyboard to slump down a bit.
7.Pressing the 'Fn' key invokes the number '6' each time.
8.Keys '6' and 'N' don't respond everytime they're pressed.
9.The BIOS keyboard settings are sometimes set to 'Japan', sometimes to  'International' & sometimes to 'United States' by itself.
These problems begin as soon as I hit the key "N" on my laptop.

Dell tech support have replaced the keyboard without any joy. I've updated the BIOS to the latest version A29 without success. Have carried out everything told by tech support...

Any ideas ?

Item #6 reads as follows -"This is a temporary fix. The only permanent fix is to have Dell technical support replace the keyboard and quite possibly the motherboard also on the system. If your system is still under warranty, you should consider contacting Dell Support for a solution."

Dell tech support have replaced the keyboard, the dell complaints section has been updated with ref. numbers of previous communication with tech support (which are only movig in circles.)
