Need BIOS Master Password for Inspiron Laptop!!!!!!!
Hi,
My brother using Inspiron N4050. Last week he has facing Boot error Problem. So, he tired to reset the BIOS version. After that, when i turn on the Laptop, it will ask BIOS password. But, my brother forgot all old password. So, i need Master Password. I have my Bill and ownership proof.
Could anyone help me to find the BIOS Password?

A support call charge applies if you're out of warranty.

Thanks for your reply. I read this thread. My laptop is already out of warranty. So, Is it free of cost or charges may applicable for this service?
If applicable, What are the charges for getting Master Password? I'm from Tamil Nadu Region, India.

It's whatever a standard support call costs there - in the US, it's $60.

Going forward, this can no longer be done through the Forum. You must call in to Dell Technical Support for your country. They will verify all of your data as the owner of the laptop, put you on hold, and then contact an L2 technician to get the password reset.
Its not an on demand service and if you cannot prove ownership its not happening.
